Three weeks after announcing, on the one hand his divorce with the Alstare team, and on the other the hiring of two young champions of the championship – the Supersport champion Davies and the Superstock 1000 champion Giugliano -, Ducati communicates to us the name of its team and its executive members.
"Based in the racing department of the Ducati factory in Borgo Panigale, in Bologna, Italy, the new team officially called" Team Ducati Superbike "will work in collaboration with Feelracing, a formation with which Ducati has already worked in the past and obtained many victories in Superbike ".
Ernesto Marinelli remains in charge of the Superbike Project within the factory, whose racing activity is now overseen by Gigi Dall’Igna, defector from Aprilia! Serafino Foti, former sports director at BMW Goldbet – in which Davies rode by the way – will take up the position of Team Manager.
"Already operational with an efficient and well-trained structure", informs Ducati who took part in the, "the team is ready and motivated to take up the 2014 challenge".
