It should be remembered that the number of road deaths in France dropped from more than 18,000 in 1972 to less than 3,500 in 2016, without even taking into account the explosion in traffic or the progress of vehicles in terms of passive safety….
Note also that according to the Road Safety’s own figures, automatic radars relate to excesses of less than 20 km / h, i.e. a small 110 (and soon a very small 100!) On a beautiful clear national road…
But what does it matter: let us continue to designate speed as the sole responsible for accidents, to confuse "excess speed" and "excessive speed" and to consider road mortality as the absolute priority of French society in the 21st century. !
