KTM is calling all 1290 Super Duke Rs from the 2020 model year back to the workshops worldwide. There is a check of the wiring harness in the rear. The action can take up to four hours.

KTM currently writes all owners one 1290 Super Duke R for model year 2020 and asks you to contact an authorized dealer immediately. If the rear end is incorrectly assembled, the wiring harness can show damage in three places. KTM speaks of the rear lower fairing, which has to be dismantled and reworked to check the cable harnesses.

The campaign is free for owners of the affected models and takes a good 75 minutes without repairs. If repairs to the wiring harness are necessary, 95 minutes must be planned. The action takes 240 minutes if the entire wiring harness has to be replaced in the event of major damage.
