And suddenly it’s dark: KTM calls the Duke models 125 and 390 from model year 2017 (current models from 2016) back to the workshop.

Reason for recalling KTM 125 Duke and KTM 390 Duke: under certain conditions the LED headlights can fail for a short time. Obviously, this brings with it a considerable risk of accidents, especially at night.

Software update from the dealer

As the cause of the failures there KTM indicates that the control software of the LEDs can occasionally be restarted, while they are of course off. A software update to be installed by the dealer is supposed to solve the problem.

The owners of affected and already delivered KTM 125 Duke and KTM 390 Duke will be informed in writing by KTM of the recall and asked to contact a KTM dealer immediately to make an appointment. In addition, KTM riders can use the KTM website in the “Service” area Use the chassis number to check online whether your KTM 125 or 390 Duke has been affected by the recall.
