Road rallies - 11th Dourdou rally: 1st victory for Filleton, 3rd title for Toniutti! - Rankings and results 2014

After a fight from another world in which Laurent Filleton (Aprilia 1000 Tuono) emerged victorious, the Yamaha official site rider Julien Toniutti (Yamaha MT09 Team 2B / Deletang) finished second and was crowned 2014 French champion.. Report.

Rankings and results 2014

Once the spirits have calmed down, the pressure has fallen and everyone has returned to the fold, motorcycles on bilges (for many in reconditioning for the), we take stock of the complete classification of an eventful final and an exciting championship.

Even if it was dominated from start to finish by the official Yamaha rider of Team 2B Julien Toniutti, this 2014 championship was rather contested. The podium places were expensive to gain, especially on the side of the constructors’ championship where the gaps were small until the final…

So let’s come back to this rally of the 11th Dourdou which closed the 2014 championship in its usual festive atmosphere under the Aveyron sun..

The Moto Club de Villecomtal (12) had put the package. As in 2013, the National Road Rally Commission decided to proceed with the award ceremony for the championship at the same time as that for the last event. It was therefore necessary to be up to the task and the MCV did not fail in its duty !

Carried out in the presence of Jacques Bolle, president of the FFM, to music with Brazilian dancers and even champagne (from the championship winners), it was a prize-giving ceremony worthy of a French championship. !

On the way to hope

Between the prize-giving of the 11th Rallye du Dourdou and that of the French road rally championship 2014, a driver of the next (and last) Dark Dog Moto Tour, Pierre Lemos, took the opportunity to pass a message on the raffle that he organizes in partnership with the association "The Paths of Hope" to help two sick children from the Langeac region, stage of the next Dark Dog Moto Tour.

To be won with your 5 euro ticket: a KTM 350 Duke, a driving course with Denis Bouan, helmets and other miscellaneous prizes which will be awarded during the draw during the "big loop" stage in Langeac. A way to work for a good cause, knowing that the profits from the sale of tickets will go to the association and will be actively used to help these two sick children.

This 2014 French championship ends in celebration as we like: again bravo to the organizers, to the volunteers, to the "conciliatory" elected officials, to the partners and … to the assistants !

See you in two months now for the last edition of (from September 27 to October 4) to follow on Site, as always seen from the inside and this time on the handlebars of a Yamaha MT09 from Team Deletang. Stay connected !
