Road rallies - Julien Toniutti wins the Rallye de la Sarthe - The 2012 route

For the second year in a row, Site rider Julien Toniutti wins the Rallye de la Sarthe riding the official KTM 990 Superduke KTM France. A victory wrested by the force of the wrist… not broken this year! Report.

The 2012 route

The Manceau route is in the same style as that of last year: departure from the esplanade of the port of La Suze to first join the 24 Hours circuit by a nice little link of about 25 km for the first special : 4 laps on the Bugatti circuit.

Then a superb course on small country roads leads the competitors to Courceboeufs, the first road special that is planned to be covered twice by making a small Balloon / Balloon loop of about 80 km.

After a meal break in the village of Ballon, return to La Suze to complete the day stage and prepare the motorcycles for the night stage.

The start of the night stage is scheduled for 7.45 p.m., with a link to reach the Domfront special, then a road route to Courceboeufs, link and second night passage at Domfront-en-Champagne, then return to La Suze- sur-Sarthe for the finish of the rally.
