With more than a minute ahead of time over Vincent Philippe, the knight of Groland, Serge Nuques, allows himself a few fantasies and thus sacrifices the stage victory! Vincent Philippe takes advantage of this and wins this seventh day…

Set off for the Kerkennah – Hammamet stage this morning, Serge Nuques riding his Yamaha 450 WRF knew that he was more than a minute ahead of his pursuer, Vincent Philippe on Suzuki 450 RMX R. He therefore decided to ride it. play "Grolandaise" and prepare us something for the last special…

At the Kerkennah Islands special, the first of the day, Sergei once again slammed the best time, followed a few tenths by Vincent Philippe and still less than a second behind third on this special, Marc "Myself" Troussard at the orders for the Yamaha 1200 Super Tenere in the colors of the Journal moto du Net !

Then head to the port for an express boarding and return to Sfax to continue the day. The second special of the day and the last of the rally may be decisive for some. Starting in first position as since the start of the Tunisia Rally Tour, the knight of Groland and prince of Tunisia allows himself to stop during the special following a pressing desire !

Then overtaken by Vincent Philippe’s Suzuki 450 RMX R, he will finish the wheel-to-wheel special with the multiple endurance world champion (see video below). Pure Grolandais !

In the end, it is therefore Vincent Philippe who wins this seventh stage of the Tunisia Rally Tour 2012 but Serge Nuques obtains the first place in the general classification and wins the TRT 2012. Note also that Michel Geille (KTM 990 SMR), who had been part of the of the three pilots who fell in the first special, also fell in the last. Presumably suffering from a broken collarbone, he had to give up.

As all the times are not yet official, the details of the day with the full rankings can be followed tomorrow on MNC: stay tuned !
