The British are crazy. Luckily. Otherwise the wonderfully entertaining shots of the Suzuki All-Star 125 race in 2019 and 2018 would not be available.

At the Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground kart track, the Suzuki All-Star 125cc race is largely about pride. And that is defended with pretty much every means: Elbow bumps, legs put in the way, excursions into the grass or even pushes into the lush green. Check out the videos and you’ll get a feel for what it’s like when the British racing professionals battle each other on identical 125cc Suzuki.

In 2018, six racing drivers from the British Superbike Championship and the Isle of Man TT started on six identical Suzuki GSX-S 125s: Bradley Ray, Richard Cooper, Billy McConnell, Gino Rea, Davey Todd and Tom Ward. Richard Cooper won the race last year. In 2019, five Suzuki GSX-R125s were available for Bradley Ray, Richard Cooper, Luke Stapleford, Billy McConnell and Josh Elliott. And this year Josh Elliott, the OMG rider from the British Superbike Championship, won the race.

The three-time British Superbike Champion John Reynolds was in charge of this glorious race.
