Suzuki has to recall just over 3,000 Address scooters. Various switch functions can fail due to corrosion.

The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Suzuki has to recall 3,134 scooters of the type Address to the workshops in Germany. In the handlebar fitting, the contact surfaces for the horn button and the starter button were not properly coated. Corrosion that occurs here can impair the conductivity and thus the function of the switches. In plain language this means that the horn and starter could fail.

The affected vehicles are from the construction period 2014 to 2019. All owners are called to the workshops with their vehicle. There the two affected switches in the handlebar fitting are checked and replaced if necessary.
