The Intruder 800 had for a time eclipsed the Suzuki range to adapt to Euro3 standards. Reintroduced in 2009, it still defends the identity of Japanese custom as well. Beautifully designed with harmonious shapes and proportions, no frills (there’s the M 800 cousin for that), a water-cooled twin and long skirts above the wheels, the Intruder is convincing with its elegant style and succeeded. Its 805 cm3 twin is now cleaner, while retaining a power whose wisdom easily exceeds 50 horsepower. The transmission is provided by a cardan shaft, fuel injection, and braking by a disc in the front followed by a drum in the rear. The chrome, the LED rear light and the on-board console inlaid on the fuel tank really add character to the C 800. Too bad it is so heavy with its 280 kg on the scale. Especially since a 130 wide front tire does not help with agility. He makes up for it by welcoming the pilot with a low saddle and long running boards. A discreet custom to play it relaxed.
