For the second most beautiful thing in the world, all you need is a bike, a racetrack and a suitable racing series: the nine best cups and classes for racing beginners. good luck for!

Volkmar Jacob

Ever since evolution brought about man, he has been striving for happiness and fulfillment. What fills entire libraries and drove hosts of philosophers crazy can be so wonderfully simple: Take a suitable piece of sports equipment, make it into a fine arena and move it quickly. In awe we kneel down in front of the inventor of the potter’s wheel, which served as the basis for the wheel and thus carefree movement. 6500 years later, this invention is found twice in one vehicle – fortunately one behind the other!

Thanks to the grace of late birth, solid chassis encircle these wheels. In addition, they are equipped with excellent rubber products that act as road contact. In addition, powerful power plants drive the loads. But what can be done with such driving devices? Moving them appropriately in public areas attracts the displeasure of the regulatory authorities. Fortunately, modern times offer Homo Gasicus numerous opportunities to indulge their passion on closed-off terrain with like-minded people and to compete. This also and especially applies to novices.

Organized shooting as a group event

In principle, branded cups are best suited for beginners or those returning to the sport. Equal opportunities are used for driving on identical machines. In addition, there is usually a lot of solidarity in the community, the atmosphere is familiar and they are happy to help with technical or other problems. Most of the organizers offer technical support for this. In many cups there are also two races per event, which compensates for the effort of a racing weekend. Of course, costs are also an issue. In the case of cups, they are kept within limits, as the regulations almost never allow extensive and therefore expensive tuning. To be fair, it should be mentioned that other series also present inexpensive racing. Organizers such as Bike Promotion, Art Motor, Pro Speed and many more offer classes that enable non-high-end racers and older machines to start.

They offer a wide range of services and include machines from just under 40 hp (ADAC Junior Cup) to hammers with around 180 hp (Super Duke Battle). Everyone will find the right playground for their favorite activity here. Before the ambitious newcomer plunges into racing, we urgently recommend attending some racing training courses. There you gain your first experience, get used to the hustle and bustle and gradually approach your personal limit without the stress of racing. Over time, this shifts further and further backwards – a real motivational tsunami!

In the following, we present the branded cups that are particularly suitable for beginners and those returning to the sport. The conditions are from the previous season. If you want to venture into hobby racing, simply contact the organizer of your choice. Then nothing stands in the way of starting your happiness!
