The seat cushions should provide optimal relief.

If you put on the Moto-Skiveez for the first time, the large, but thin padding gives you a flashback to the diaper era.

Otherwise, the three-quarter functional underpants convince with good workmanship, good fit and good climate control.

Test result: The same applies to the Moto-Skiveez functional pants as it does to the cyclist shorts. Not every backside fits every upholstery in connection with every bench. The Moto-Skiveez pants seem to tend to bring greater comfort gains, especially on softer seats.

Cycling shorts wear a pad to make the long ride in the narrow saddle more bearable. But experienced cyclists know that not every butt is compatible with every pad and saddle. The Skiveez functional shorts also want to pamper motorcyclists with a pad. Since the requirements when riding a motorcycle are completely different than on a bike, the upholstery is also cut differently. There are also variants that are aimed at the upright touring rider, the hunched-over athlete and the casually relaxed cruiser pilot. Only women are always served with the same upholstery, regardless of their sitting posture.

The Performance Adventure three-quarter trousers, developed for the upright sitting position, had to prove themselves in MOTORRAD practice. It was worn next to the skin and combined with a textile suit and a leather suit. The riders were on a naked bike and a different kind of bike on a super sports bike.
The gain in comfort depends on the seat
If you put on the Moto-Skiveez for the first time, the large, but thin padding gives you a flashback to the diaper era. But as soon as you step into the suit or the station wagon, the shorts are barely noticeable and – don’t worry, ladies and gentlemen – you can’t see them either. At over 30 degrees, we went on a 7-hour tour on a BMW R 1200 R LC Roadster. The pants made of polyester and spandex sit, fit and offer excellent climate comfort. Nothing sticks, rubs or wrinkles – even after hours. And the seating comfort? Convincing on the BMW with its relatively softly padded bench. The usual bruises – gone. Cross-check on the athlete with a rather tight sandwich. Here, too, the seating comfort increases, but much less noticeably. Mission accomplished? Not quite. The co-tester was not able to record any comfort gains with the women’s version on the seat of a Yamaha MT-07, but she also did not note any disadvantages on the test sheet. The bum hurt even with padded pants in the usual places after the usual driving time. So it seems to apply to the Moto-Skiveez functional pants what also applies to the cyclist shorts. Not every backside fits every upholstery in connection with every bench. The Moto-Skiveez pants seem to tend to bring greater comfort gains, especially on softer seats.
Great workmanship
The Skiveez can shine without restriction when it comes to processing. All seams are flawless, the padding is neatly fitted and the wide elastic waistband at the top ensures a clean finish. The Performance Adventure three-quarter trousers are available from 98 euros. The corresponding shorts start from 75 euros. The Skiveez functional pants for women and men are available in sizes S-XXL.

Conclusion
If the selected functional underwear fits the buttocks, the trousers and the seat, then it offers a noticeable gain in comfort – especially on very long tours. It is very comfortable to wear and the climate is very good.
