Triumph 675 STREET TRIPLE 2015

Menus

Identity crisis? Japanization? Rebellion against genital history? The 675 Street Triple outrageously loses its special plastic to tend towards efficiency. The pots under the saddle have disappeared, in favor of a low exhaust. We like it or not, but technically, it pays off. No less than 4 kilos that release, and a lowering of the center of gravity. There alone, we have 2/3 of the Street Triple slimming cure. The factory took some weight off again with a new rear buckle, lightened rims and a revised frame. Total balance: 6 kilos less.

Here, this frame, let’s take a closer look, because it is much more reworked than it looks. Still in aluminum, it has fewer parts and fewer welds. Here it is now lighter, more rigid, and the front axle caster angle is tightened from 24.3 ° to 24.1 ° (even more on the R: 23.4 °). Did you find the old Street lively? This opus will be even more sparkling.

Stuck between the radiator scoops, the 3 cylinder remains as it is. Playful, powerful, frenzied, the mechanics have received nothing but praise so far. Its renewal will not disappoint anyone. The injection has however been revised to become less fuel-intensive.
Triumph has also polished a series of more or less important details. Thus the 675 Street Triple gained new suspensions, new brake discs assisted by a multi-mode disengageable ABS, a coded key, a little space under the saddle to take a U, a dashboard enriched with a fuel gauge, an improved finish, new mirrors and a discreet modification at the base of the tank.
In 2015, the Street Triple can be clamped at 35 kW to become accessible with the A2 license.

With time and success, the 675 Street Triple moved away from the punk suburbs of London to set foot in the City. On the silhouette, everyone will judge but all will give it more credit thanks to its dynamism, its agility and the charm of its 3 legs.
