When Triumph looked at the cruiser-touring category, it didn’t do it by halves. A striking entry with the Rocket III Touring was made in excess, with its colossal three-cylinder 2.3 L. Enough to gaze at the Americans, ignore the Japanese, and find a place on the highways.
More reasonable, another Triumph has decided to follow this trail and offer the taste. The 865 America was chosen to counter the winds and vagaries of glove boxes. A little bit of accessories, a direct transplant in the factory, and a zest, Hinckley transforms you from a custom “Bonnevilliste” to America LT. Long distances become a desire with this Light Touring. And yet, nothing exceptional in this recipe that Kawasaki has already applied to its VN 900 Light Tourer.
