The Rocket 3 has secretly developed into a bestseller for the British. Accordingly, customer interest is now being further fueled with two new special models. The Rocket 3 R Black and Rocket 3 GT Triple Black are only offered in an edition of 1,000 copies worldwide. There is no numbering, but each bike receives an individual certificate of authenticity.

In order to make the big three-cylinder the bad guy, the British have played a lot with the color black. The new Rocket 3 R Black comes with an aggressive, completely black color scheme, the Rocket 3 GT Triple Black with a distinctive, three-level color scheme.

Black, black and again black

Other special model features include a carbon front fender, a blackened engine finish with black painted exhaust manifolds, black painted heat shields, black powder-coated intake manifolds and black painted headlight surrounds, fly-screen holders, radiator panels, seat surrounds and rear frame panels. But that doesn’t mean the color black has had its day. Emblems and rear wheel covers, rear frames, brake and clutch levers, triple clamps, risers and handlebar clamps, strut lever, swing arm protection, side stands, driver footpegs, brake and gear levers, heel protection and passenger footpegs and bars as well as the anodized handlebar end mirrors also come in black.

Technically, the three-cylinder remain untouched with their complete equipment. The 2.5 liter triple shovels 167 hp and a maximum torque of 221 Nm via the cardan drive on the rear wheel.

The two special models will be available from dealers from May 2021. The Rocket 3 R Black costs 23,750 euros in Germany (plus delivery costs), the Rocket 3 GT Triple Black is available for 24,550 euros (plus delivery costs). The standard Rocket 3 is available from 22,550 euros.
