Triumph TIGER 800 XRT 2015

Menus

Triumph decided to make their 800 Tiger more and more attractive and to inflate the equipment. To attack the range, the XR allows you to venture on the road and horizons. Except that we often want to install some accessories to enhance the trip. This XRT version, which we could define as over-equipped, has a nice little list of supplies.

The Hinckley brand begins by inflating the alternator to 650 W, just to send enough power to power everything that connects. You will understand: on board the Tiger 800 XRT, there is an additional 12V socket (3 in all), rider / passenger seats and heated grips, and a set of fog lights.
That’s not all, as this XRT clearly smells of travel. On the edges of the stern are grafted aluminum supports to accommodate luggage (optional). A GPS mounting kit and the tire pressure monitoring system are standard. Finally, Triumph also affixes an aluminum protection grid on the radiator as well as a CNC machined brake chamber..

With this Triumph Tiger 800 XRT, all you have to do is buy the suitcases and go as far as you want. Remember that the top-of-the-range XRx version, on which this enriched variant is based, already offered cruise control, several driving modes, a more advanced ABS than on the XR, hand guards, the central stand, etc….
Dynamically, we can trust the 3 cylinders of 800 cm3 and 95 hp. The mechanics are playful, powerful and only ask to fly in the towers. Experienced drivers and / or fans of more rounded blocks could blame it for a small lack of torque at low revs. The chassis is true to Triumph quality, intuitive and easy, with handling and handling almost like a roadster.
