Triumph 1050 SPEED TRIPLE R 2014

Menus

With 2014, the Speed Triple 1050 R strives to become more affordable. Roadster of choice with formidable efficiency, the English streetfighter has so far suffered from a boring price. Now, the Speed in sport sauce should attract more audiences thanks to a lower price and more equipment…. well almost.
In addition to its sports equipment (to re-discover below), the fiery Hinckley roadster wins a small nose screen, an engine spoiler and a seat cowl matching the general color, ABS as standard, a coup of red paint on the radiator scoops and a bit of cosmetic with a red border on the rims and black coated muffler guards. On the other hand, to lower the painful, it was necessary to part with a little of the beautiful original stuff. And it is the wheels that are sacrificed. The Speed Triple R-style now fits on the rims of a standard Speed 1050 instead of the very light PVM forged aluminum rims.

We also find on this Speed an inverted NIX 30 fork and a TTX36 shock absorber from the famous Swedish manufacturer. There is also a rear frame painted in red as on the Daytona 675 R, some carbon parts (radiator scoops, airbox cover, front fender). Combined with Brembo monobloc braking, the Speed announces that it has gained 5% in braking efficiency compared to the “base” Speed.
