The French helmet manufacturer Veldt has pulled its helmet range through the paint pot and is offering numerous new versions of the carbon retro modular helmet for 2021.

If you are looking for a stylish retro helmet for your retro bike and retro outfit, you should take a look at the helmet manufacturer Veldt’s range. The French only have one model on offer, but that can be varied in many ways.

One helmet – four versions

At its base, the Veldt Mark 1 is a jet helmet. The helmet shell, which is available in three sizes, is molded from carbon fiber laminate. The size spectrum covered ranges from XS to 3XL. So that everyone can find a suitable helmet, each head protection is also supplied with five head pads and two cheek pads in two different thicknesses.

If you adapt the chin part, the jet helmet becomes a full-face helmet. The Mark 1 fulfills the ECE standard and the DOT specifications in both criteria. The combination of a helmet plus chin section and parasol turns the Mark 1 into headgear for enduro riders who wear glasses. Take off your umbrella and put your full visor on – the full-face helmet is ready. Now the chin part is removed again and the Mark 1 goes through as a full-face jet helmet. The French use a double D-ring for the chinstrap fastener. The visors are prepared for the use of Pinlock. All screws are made of titanium. When fully equipped, the Mark 1 weighs around 1,300 grams.

Not played enough yet? Then there are still 18 new color designs to choose from for 2021. The offer ranges from simple matt black to various decors in a retro look or iridescent topcoats. Still not found the right combination? Then the configurator from Veldt is ideal. Here the individual helmet can be designed with the paint of your choice.

The prices for the helmets from the new Veldt collection start from 490 euros for the standard design and range up to 810 euros. Individual solutions can easily be in the four-digit range.
