Santa Claus spent four days early at Lucas Mahias: "I have just signed my contract with the Kawasaki Intermoto team for the Supersport World Championship season!", Posted on Saturday (December 20) on his Facebook page.
This gift amply deserves it since he has shown throughout the year not only great wisdom but also – and above all – incomparable speed, winning the in-te-gra-li- tee of the French Supersport Championship races !
Invited to the last two World Supersport events in then at, the French Luxembourgish Grolandais (!) Has already passed very close to his first world podium during the night final in Qatar, finishing in the wheel of Jules Cluzel himself. Even Sofuoglu has chickweed for 2015 !
"I am delighted to join the World Supersport with Kawasaki," said the 25-year-old driver from Mont-de-Marsan (40). He will discover his future mount, the ZX-6R which has led Florian Marino to 3rd place in the championship this season, during the next WSBK tests scheduled for mid-January in Aragon (Spain).
"I also thank Yamaha for all its years of support", naturally adds Lucas "Bernardo" Mahias. "I wouldn’t be here today without them!"
