In order to keep up with the speed of the MotoGP machines, BMW is sending two M 1000 RR safety bikes into the race.

The model bears the classic BMW colors, in which the racing version is also used in the Superbike World Championship.

Only just in stores, already on the racetrack – the new BMW M4 will in future ensure safety in the two-wheel top class.
5/18
In contrast to previous years, in which the safety cars were always painted in the classic BMW Motorsport colors, the M4 is sent out onto the track in a striking Sao Paulo Yellow.

And because that is not yet noticeable enough, there is also the usual safety car chin-up, consisting of the large light bar on the roof and LED flashers in the front grille.

In the M4 safety car, the rear seat was also removed and a roll bar and 4-point sports belts were installed.
9/18
Because one safety car is not enough, the MotoGP has given the M4 two more M models.
10/18
For the M3 sedan, those responsible at BMW opted for a look in Frozen Gray Dark Metallic.

The lettering and logos on the body are gold.

Of course, the M3 also wants to delight fans on the track with its present exhaust sound.

Compared to the series model, the safety cars also have an emergency power cut-off switch for overseas transport.

The third new car in the safety car fleet is the BMW M5 CS.
15/18
The tone Frozen Deep Green Metallic was selected from the M color palette, which shines slightly golden in the light.
16/18
The rims and kidney grille also shine golden on the M5.
17/18
Despite its 635 hp, the sedan will hardly be able to keep up with the MotoGP rockets.

In motorcycle racing, BMW competes in the World Endurance Championship and the Superbike World Championship. BMW also plays an exclusive role in MotoGP. The Munich-based company has been providing security vehicles in the top two-wheeler racing class since 1999. And the Bavarian specialists have come up with something completely new for the 2021 season.

At the start of Europe in Portimao (Portugal) in mid-April, the well-known BMW M8 Competition Coupe Safety Car, the BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupe Safety Car and the BMW X5 M Medical Car will be used.

While the safety bikes are painted in the classic BMW Motorsport colors – i.e. white with blue and red accents – the new safety car models have a completely different look. For the M3 (Frozen Gray Dark Metallic), the M4 (Sao Paulo Yellow) and the M5 (Frozen Deep Green Metallic), striking colors were selected from the M range.
