Several less well-known passes of the Dolomites, which are well worth a visit, are lined up one after the other on this tour: Passo Brocon, Passo della Gobbera, Passo Rolle and, as a highlight, the Manghen Pass.

On sometimes fairytale-like asphalt, the route presents little difficulties for experienced drivers. The narrow route in connection with the serpentines on the Manghen Pass and partly on the Brocon requires concentration.

Route length: 176 kilometers Travel time: approx. 4 hours without breaks, with refreshments and overnight stays (south side of Passo Manghen) 1 day.

Start in Borgo Valsugana. From the city center to the east parallel to the SS47

> left towards Castello Tesino

> Follow the brown signs “Passo Brocon”

> several switchbacks to the top of the pass

> Possibility to take a break on both sides of the road at the top of the pass

> Departure to Mezzano, partly narrow road, natural tunnel

> 16.2 km after the top of the pass left to Passo Gobbera

> from there beautiful view towards Monte Pavione

> eight hairpin bends down to Mezzano

> Nice market place

> at the end of the village gas station, next door good ice cream parlor

> straight ahead towards Passo Rolle

> Follow SS 50 northwards, attention: bitumen smearings every now and then

> 23km after the petrol station on the right, Malga Fosse, lookout point

> 17 switchbacks to the top of the pass

> Descent to Predazzo

> Keep towards Trento

> from Predazzo 16 km to the roundabout in Molina

> left to Passo Manghen

> North ramp quickly becomes narrow, large areas of fallen trees

> below the top of the Rifugio Passo Manghen, motorcycle meeting point

> Weitsicht at the top of the pass

> very winding descent

> 10 km from the top of the pass, you can stay overnight in the Hotel Aurai

> another 13 km to the finish in Borgo Valsugana.
