New dimensions for travel enduro bikes

So far, the Metzeler Sportec M7 RR has shone with its good performance on sports motorcycles. Now the sports tire is also available in dimensions for large travel enduros.

Modern, large travel enduros offer powerful engines, great freedom from lean angles and modern, stable chassis. Metzeler With the designated Sportec M7 RR sports tire, it now supplies a tire that should offer sporty endurance travelers even more driving dynamics.

Sports tires for almost all large enduro bikes

So the Sportec M7 RR will be in the dimensions from March 2019 120/70 R 19 and 170/60 R 17 come onto the market, which fit many current large enduro bikes. From April 2019 the sports tire will also be available in the “classic” tire sizes of many motorcycles in this category –110/80 R 19 and 150/70 R 17 – be available.

In the future, even large enduro bikes will be able to benefit from the qualities of the sports tire.

Models such as the Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally (MY 2015), the BMW R 1200 GS; Adventure (MY 2013-16), R 1200 GS (MY 2017), R 1250 GS / Adventure (MY 2019), R nineT Urban G / S, R nineT Scrambler (19 “/ 17”) (MY 2016-), the Ducati Multistrada 950 (MY 2017-), Multistrada Enduro 1260 (MY 2019-), Scrambler Desert Sled (MY 2017-) and the
Triumph Tiger 1200 (MY 2018-), Tiger Explorer (MY 2016-) benefit.

The smaller dimensions are tailored to the following models: BMW R 850 GS; R 1100/1150 GS / Adv., R 1200 GS / Adv. (MY 2004-08), Honda Varadero 1000, Crosstourer, KTM 1050 Adventure / 1090 Adventure, Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200 8V / 1200 NTX, V85 TT (MY 2019), Suzuki V-Strom DL 650 / DL 1000, Triumph Tiger Explorer / XC, Tiger 800, Tiger (T 709, 709EN), Yamaha XTZ 1200 Z Super Tenere.

The corresponding tire approvals should be available for download parallel to the delivery of the tires; additional homologations of these new tires for other models are in preparation.
