MNC: How are your days going? ?

S. G. : I usually get up around 7:00 am to prepare breakfast with the family. My teleworking day begins at 8:30 am to read my emails, news in general and specific to our industry. A good part of the morning is dedicated to answering various emails and dealing with priorities. After lunch with the family, the early afternoon is often devoted to a videoconference with all the managers. This allows us to discuss and address new elements resulting from the crisis we are going through. A detailed update on our entire network is made with the sales team and our sales manager. This allows us to keep a close link with our dealers, to inform them of the gradual recovery measures and to best meet their expectations. A cut in the middle of the afternoon allows me to practice a little sport or to maintain the garden. Then, I call our vice-president daily to give an update on Kymco Taiwan and its shareholders. The end of the day is entirely devoted to the family.

MNC: What do you miss the most? The least ?

S. G. : Social contact, both professional and private, I miss the most. On the contrary, I don’t miss the time spent on all of my business trips !

MNC: What are you afraid of ?

S. G. : I am generally calm because we very quickly adopted the right reflexes in the face of the pandemic. Our factories in Taiwan have given us the benefit of their experiences in dealing with this kind of situation and transmitted valuable advice that we have put in place for all of our staff as of February..

MNC: A book, a film, a series, a record to recommend ?

S. G. : Without hesitation in books "La trilogie du mal" by Maxime Chattam. My last favorite in terms of series is Peaky Blinders.

MNC: Your Favorite Motorcycle Video ?

S. G. : The World’s Fastest Indian starring Anthony Hopkins for whom I have a lot of admiration as well as a documentary on Angel Nieto retracing his career and his 13 titles of world champion.

MNC: The first thing you will do at the end of the lockdown ?

S. G. : Go see my family and resume sport with my friends.
