The Honda subsidiary Montesa is celebrating its 75th birthday and is also launching the Cota 301RR model in a special anniversary look.

Montesa is 75 and is older than the Honda parent company. The Spaniards celebrate with a special model of the Montesa Cota 301RR.
The anniversary model features a red fuel tank as an homage to the early Montesa models and a gold one “75th anniversary”-Emblem that adorns the fuel tank cover and the now black fork legs. The basic color gray also cites early Montesa models. The decor of the rims has also changed and shows the Montesa next to the Cota name tag “M.” in white on a red background.
Technology remains untouched
There are no technical changes to the anniversary model. It remains with the tried and tested 299 cm³ single-cylinder four-stroke engine. In addition to the competition variant, the special model is also available in a street legal version with corresponding lighting devices, mirrors and license plate holders.
The prices for the Montesa Cota 301RR start from 9,590 euros.
Conclusion
For the company’s anniversary, Montesa is launching the Cota 301RR as “75th anniversary”-Edition on. Only the look is changed, technically everything remains unchanged.
