From the end of January 2012, the Italian firm will be offering a new version of its small 848 Evo Superbike. In addition to its red, white and black racing color, several features distinguish the 848 Evo "Corse Special Edition" from its basic version (read our).

At the rear, a fully adjustable Ohlins monoshock replaces the original Showa. If the Ducati 848 Evo Corse SE is also equipped with double Brembo monobloc calipers, the latter bite brake discs whose diameter goes to 330 mm instead of 320 mm.

On the mechanical side, no change to report: the recent Testastretta Evoluzionne L-twin still develops 140 hp and 98 Nm in the Free World, 106 hp and 78 Nm with us. The beast, on the other hand, benefits from the electronic controls developed by the Borgo Panigale firm. !

Thus, the DTC (Ducati Traction Control) and the DQS (Ducati Quick Shift, cutting the ignition when changing a gear) are part of the original endowment of this "novelty 2012" which will land in the price of 15 690 euros.

Chrome muscle bike

The Ducati Diavel will also inaugurate an aesthetic variation in 2012 called Diavel Cromo. This new version stands out from its original "hyper custom" with a chrome tank and a vintage style including horizontal grooves on the seat and Ducati logos with a retro look..

The Diavel Cromo will arrive in April 2012 at a price of 18,990 euros, i.e. 2,000 € more than the standard Diavel but 1,000 € less than the Carbon model … and 6,000 € less than the recent one. !
