Success of the first action against the ignition of the codes
The first action led by the FFMC against the switching on of daytime codes met with great success yesterday in several cities in France. In Paris, nearly 300 motorcyclists took to the A6 tollgate to remove barriers and have petitions signed.
"Thank you bikers !", could we hear yesterday on the toll of the A6 motorway in Fleury-en-Bière: the motorists returned from vacation between 3 and 4 p.m. were indeed happy to come across a" free toll "action organized by the FFMC against lighting fires during the day (read).

"The vast majority of motorists understand that this measure is dangerous for us and will not turn on their codes."Says an activist from the FFMC Paris Petite Couronne, after spending an hour distributing leaflets and getting a petition signed."Only a few told us they would think about it".
In Paris alone, 455 signatures were collected yesterday to say "No to compulsory daytime running lights"and ask"the immediate withdrawal of this criminal measure". This strong mobilization of bikers in several cities in France and the good support of motorists suggests a strong reaction against this incentive measure, which should be further amplified during the events scheduled for September 18 and 19…
