Kenan Sofuoglu took off perfectly from his pole position, then failed to get ahead by plunging into the first corner but held on and ahead of Jules Cluzel, Michael van den Mark, jack Kennedy, Patrick Jacobsen, Florian Marino, Raffaele de Rosa, Lorenzo Zanetti, Massimo Roccoli, Kevin Coghlan … and Valentin Debise !

From the first lap, the four leading men moved away from the rest of the peloton. Sofuoglu attacks the straight line alone in front of Cluzel, VDM and Kennedy who, in the small game of aspirations, made the best operation and jumped to second place by diving into the first corner of the layout !

De Rosa and Jacobsen try to catch up the leading group in the second lap. Marino, seventh, ahead of the main body where the fight is raging, as always in Supersport. Debise remains eleventh, ahead of Rolfo, Tamburini, Bussolotti and Wilairot.

In front, Kenan maintains his ZX-6R in front of Jack’s CBR600RR … Our national Jules is a small second from the leading duo but is passed in the 4th lap by "Magic Michael". Raffaele de Rosa finds himself in the asp of MV Agusta n ° 16.

Irish driver Kennedy takes the lead in the next loop and immediately widens a gap on the three-time Turkish champion! The n ° 54 tries to recover its due on the first braking of the 6th lap but widens in the first curve, momentarily leaves the track and joins it in third position, just in front of Jules Cluzel !

Honda n ° 4 is now being chased by its sister at n ° 60, currently leading the championship! It only takes one lap for Van den Mark to join Kennedy and overtake him on the brakes at the end of the straight. Just behind, Sofuoglu applies to erase his mistake.

Jules Cluzel does not manage to stay in the wheel of the official Kawasaki: while Kenan finds himself in the backsplash of the Honda n ° 4 from the 8th lap, the MV Agusta remains slightly behind. The enemy n ° 1 (n ° 60) of Cluzel is precisely at the head of the race and increases its advance to more than a second. Behind, Sofuoglu tries to put the brakes on Kennedy in the first corner, climbs in front of the Irish driver but has to widen again. The lack of a gravel trap allows it to lose only a handful of tenths of a second !

The Turk catches up very quickly: from the 5th turn, a pin at the bottom of a bowl, Sofuoglu places his Kawa ‘inside the Honda n ° 4 and this time retains the advantage! The white flags are waved: as in the first Superbike race, the rain appears … But this time, the drops are much more numerous.

Cluzel chooses this moment to return to the pits. A few seconds later, the red flag was waved in turn by the marshals: the race therefore ended earlier than expected. Michael van den Mark does not have confirmation of his victory until he arrives in the parc ferme.
