After the German Marcus Waltz (read), it is the turn of the famous French tuner Ludovic Lazareth to present his Hyper Modified version of the Yamaha Tmax 530. Like his counterpart from across the Rhine, the tricolor designer has had the elbow room for transform it into a unique model supposed to "reflect its own style", assures the manufacturer.

And yet, like the, the result is aesthetically less spectacular than expected. At first glance, Lazareth’s production is more like "luxury tunning" than "ki-tear" preparation, like his unrecognizable V-Max designed for the film "Babylon AD" or his spectacular three and four-wheeler Triazuma and Quadrazuma.

Apart from a few different trim parts and the use of carbon here and there, the appearance of its Tmax Hyper Modified is indeed very close to the original (read in particular our).

However, we note the presence of "stailed" mirrors, a shorter windshield, a numbered plate and lever guards (a device originally used in competition to prevent the brake from being involuntarily actuated by a third in a fight).

Attracted by these pretty parts, the eye then stops on the beefy fork stuck on a YZF-R1 and on the ISR six-piston brake calipers. There, for once, it’s starting to chat! Then the retina threatens to explode by discovering the sumptuous exhaust outlet entirely made by Lazareth: a great job, certainly (see our photo gallery below the video).

But the best is inside, since the French preparer installed a compressor with a very specific objective in mind: to exceed 200 km / h !

According to Lazareth, his supercharged Tmax Hyper Modified would develop "about 30% more power" than the original model, or nearly 60 hp. !

The soundtrack would be up to this performance gain, even if – and it’s a shame – we unfortunately cannot enjoy it in the presentation video below … It remains a pleasure for the eyes, which already not so bad !

The third and final Tmax Hyper Modified, designed by Californian Rolands Sand, will normally be presented this fall: stay tuned !
