Maxi-scooters: and why not KTM and Ducati ?
Purely hypothetical, the photomontages offered on these sites do not leave indifferent: the Ducati scooter would be equipped with a twin-cylinder of 848 cm3 (!), An automatic transmission and a tubular chassis. Admittedly, this explosive mixture may seem highly improbable, especially in an economic context not very conducive to taking risks … But after all, who would have imagined that Ducati would invest the segment of "bad customs" with the Diavel (read our) ?
In the same spirit, the KTM project (dubbed "SC-Duke" by the Italian press) would revolve around the bubbling twin-cylinder of the Super-Duke, a robust aluminum frame and 17-inch wheels. Seductive as a devil, this maxi-scooter with automatic transmission will lead to a commercial reality? Nothing is less certain … but stay connected !
