This 1170 cc engine developing 125 hp and 125 Nm in Full is inserted in a tubular steel frame, the rear part of which is here dyed in flashy blue. The contrast in the front part, made squat by the domed tank and prominent cylinders, and the minimalist rear is striking.

The slim saddle is finished with an aerial shell and tapered like a dart, while the single-arm inside which the gimbal is housed offers a breathtaking view of the stick rim. Special mention for the unique positioning of the enormous silencer, raised almost vertically to fit between the shock absorber and the footrest plate. Superb !

The flattened headlight – of which the LEDs form a sort of mask – complete the original stylistic attributes of this particularly well-stocked Concept Roadster: Brembo front calipers with radial mounting, Ohlins inverted fork with separate cylinder and anti-friction treatment, mono-shock of the same supplier adjustable in all directions, flat gold anodized handlebars, carbon front fender… Nothing but good looks !

“The BMW Concept Roadster is as exciting to watch as it is to drive,” says designer Ola Stenegard.

The finish visually does not suffer from any criticism and the attention to detail is a dream: the sturdy brushed metal frame on which are fixed and the tiny rear light the saddle is frankly worth a look.
