On the occasion of the 2010 Motorcycle and Scooter Festival at the Parc des Expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte on the last weekend of September, the organizer of the Ultimate Rally offers a unique formula to discover this discipline: the Campus Rally.

The first edition of this initiation rally will take place on September 24 and 25, 2010, as part of the Moto and Scooter Festival in Paris Nord Villepinte.

    Organized by Mythic Events – to which we also owe the Ultimate Rally and the Rallye du Pays du Ventoux (read) – in partnership with the French Motorcycling Federation, this new event is "fun and open to all, thanks to the most accessible conditions of participation possible", continues Patrick Bournisien.

    After the administrative and technical checks on Friday 24 September, the Campus Rally will be concentrated on a single day (Saturday 25 September) but the entrants will be able to carry out preliminary reconnaissance. The participants will ride on their "everyday" motorcycle, since as with all rallies, the machines must be homologated, standard and limited in power. In addition, no additional lighting will be required since there will be no night stage.

    But beware ! If the Campus Rally wants to be "an initiation rally for beginners and amateurs, it will not be a discount race", warns the organizer who has concocted a program with little onions with a loop covered twice during the day, a total of two stages and four specials.

    In addition to navigating the road-book during the links, the competitors will be separated over two timed stages, each performed twice: a special on a closed road and another on the Villepinte site.
