With the Sawiko Wheely several vehicles can be transported at the same time. We took a closer look at the universal hanger in a practical test.

It is a well-known image that bicycles are transported across the back of the car. Transporting a full-fledged motorcycle such as a Moto Guzzi V7 III across – that sounds more exciting. Because usually something like this is written lengthways on the trailer. Not so with Sawiko Wheely.

Prices start at 1,980 euros

The very compact universal trailer accommodates its two square meters of usable space on a length of only 1.8 meters. But you should have a good view of the 2.25 meter width behind the car. The Wheely makes full use of the permissible total weight of 750 kilograms without braking, with an overrun brake it can hold up to 950 kilograms. The single-axle model is also available as a Wheely Duo for two motorcycles. Particularly practical in the test: the motorcycle loading aid.

Even the heavy Guzzi can be pulled onto the trailer with a hand winch with little effort. The ramp can be screwed onto the trailer and does not take up any space in the trunk. Various additional brackets for bicycles or transport boxes are optionally available for the Wheely. When placed upright against the wall, the Wheely hardly takes up any space in the garage. The Wheely is available from 1,980 euros without accessories, with a motorcycle loading aid it costs 3,000 euros. The model including bike holder and aluminum box costs 3,462 euros.

Noticed positively: Practical loading system, very short

Noticed negatively: Relatively wide dimensions due to the design

Sizes: Wheely / Duo

Price: From 1,980 euros

MOTORCYCLE Rating: 4 stars out of a possible 5

Conclusion

In the practical test, the Sawiko Wheely made a good first impression. The practical loading system was particularly impressive. Due to the design, however, the universal trailer has relatively wide dimensions.
