Sales of motorcycles and scooters are still doing well in France: last September, 17,477 motorcycles and scooters over 50 cc (motorcycles, as opposed to 50 cc mopeds) found buyers among bikers, "scootomobilists". .. and cyclists tired of pedaling in the rain ?!

As a reminder, the first three weeks of this return to school in 2020 – offices, concessions, etc. – were sunny and hot. Among the 125 cc, only one brand saw its registrations plunge in September (2020 Vs 2019): the overall leader, Honda, which gives way to a particularly dashing Yamaha first place in the monthly ranking! The rise in the market is penalized: + 16.4% all the same.

Apart from Orcal and Peugeot, all the main players in the 125 market experienced a much more dynamic comeback than last year. Piaggio and Sym increased their sales by a third, Kymco, Mash and KTM by two thirds! Keeway who closes the Top 10 has more than doubled his score.

On the side of "more than 125 cc", the results are just as heterogeneous and the number one is also surprised by the number two: however well off, Yamaha is preceded in September by a BMW in "dynamic" mode. Honda is still struggling but wins Kawasaki … and Triumph which almost doubles its result !

In the second half of the table, KTM and Suzuki have a good comeback in 2020 (compared to 2019), unlike Harley-Davidson and Royal Enfield who lose a quarter of their sale. Modeled on the overall market tempo (+ 17.2%), Ducati closes the Top 10.
