Possible loss of oil on an oil line
Yamaha calls the SR 400 model back to the workshops. Leaks can occur in an oil line.

There is a possibility that there is a loss of oil at the screw connection of an oil line, which represents the connection between the engine and the oil tank in the frame. Here the union nut may have been tightened with too little torque. This can mean that too little contact pressure is created on the flare and the line leaks at the sealing point.
Workshops check the oil line
The recall affects SR 400 models from the chassis number range from JYARH051000000301 to
JYARH051000002787. All owners of the affected models are invited to the workshops with their vehicle.
There the oil line is checked and the screw connection is tightened; if necessary, the entire oil line is also replaced. The work is free of charge for the customer.
