Tour 1: Tour for connoisseurs
Far from being as overcrowded as the Upper Black Forest, the northern Black Forest offers enough great curves, which are often only a few kilometers long, but are simply fun. Cute climatic health resorts, lovely river valleys and gentle mountain ranges as well as numerous refreshment stops enable even leisurely touring riders a lively day of driving with relaxed coffee & Cake breaks.
Route: approx. 190 km Journey time: with a leisurely ride approx. 3.5 to 4 hours

- Chub Typical northern Black Forest road over a wooded ridge (approx. 700 m above sea level) with some very attractive combinations of curves. Although it is off the main routes, it can still be quite busy on weekends, depending on the time.
- Red pool The small road L 79 leads up to the 690 meter high saddle. In front of the Rote Lache motorcycle meeting point with a view over Murg Valley, the inn above is ideal for a meal break.
- Poppeltal / Enzklosterle At the giant Poppeltal-Seewald slide there is a small restaurant for snacks and fun on the bends away from the motorcycle on a summer toboggan (four euros per ride); alternatively, continue on the B 294 to Enzklosterle to get an original Black Forest cake in the
Enjoy Cafe Klosterle. - Wurmtal The attractive route runs through a beautifully curved river valley with smooth curves and without too great a difference in altitude
– stress-free even for inexperienced flatlands. In the beer garden “Copper hammer” Let the tour end at Pforzheim-Dillweibstein.

Tour 2: Motorcyclists Tour
Avoid the mass traffic on racing bike routes! The popular Black Forest Ultra Cycle Marathon partly runs here, and the smallest side streets – sometimes you think you are on private paths – lead deep into the heart of the Black Forest. Attention, all your senses are called for when you are sporty! Gravel, potholes and other road damage are quite normal in narrow streets. Advantage: Usually no caravan teams and lame Sunday drivers who slow down their own driving pleasure get lost here.
route: approx. 290 km (with extra laps approx. 350 km) Travel time: at a brisk ride approx. 5 to 6 hours.

- Glaswaldsee Worthwhile detour for nature lovers: short hike (approx. 30 min) to the Glaswaldsee. The approach is about four kilometers via Seebachstrasse to the cul-de-sac parking lot, where the steep hiking trail begins.
- Rear courtyards / Niedertal The popular Black Forest Ultra Cycle Marathon partly runs here. Off the beaten track, so no caravan teams and Sunday drivers slow down the driving fun.
- Candelabra Insane route! While racing cyclists cull the north ascent, which has an average of eight percent incline and almost 1000 meters of altitude, for a good twelve kilometers, motorcyclists wag their way up the almost alpine serpentines.
- Triberg Looking for Black Forest cliches? You can find them in this almost wonderfully kitschy place: cuckoo clocks, Hutzelhauschen, traditional costumes. In addition, enough gastronomic offers for a stop. Just outside: Germany’s highest waterfalls.
- Schramberg Plan a longer stop for a visit to the Junghans terrace building (historical industrial architecture) or the world of cars and clocks (museum). Too lame Then install a fluffy 50 km extra lap via Hornberg, Schiltach and B 462 back to Schramberg.
