125 hp and 167 kg dry: something else, sir ?!

Designed around the "Trepistoni" whose displacement goes from 675 to 798 cc by an increase in the stroke (54.3 mm against 45.9 mm), this unexpected novelty 2013 puts forward serious arguments: 125 hp and 81 Nm of torque for a dry weight announced at 167 kg !

With 15 hp and 17.4 Nm of torque and only four extra pounds, the Brutale 800 promises to be downright nasty !

Of course, it takes over the cycle part of its "little" sister: a tubular steel trellis chassis connected to plates and an aluminum single-arm, Brembo radial brakes, a 43 mm Marzocchi inverted fork and a single shock absorber. Sachs.

On the other hand, these suspensions are a little more sophisticated than on the 675 since they are fully adjustable at the front and at the rear. At the technical level, the Brutale 800 carries the same MVICS electronic assistance package with anti-slip adjustable on eight levels and three injection maps selectable on the handlebars.

Similar to the, the line of the 800 is just as salivating, especially at the level of the three exhausts of the "3-legged" rital. Let’s just hope that MV Agusta will have taken the opportunity to improve the few details of finishes that are grieving on the Brutale 675, especially as the base price of the 800 flirts with 10,000 euros (9,990 € exactly) and even reaches 10,390 euros with the ‘option shifter !

This new motorcycle will be officially discovered at the EICMA show in Milan in two weeks and will be available (at a date to be defined) in red and silver, white and red or gray and white..

A special edition "Brutale 800 Italia" blue and white and equipped with the shifter will also be offered at € 10,990.

Remember that in Milan, MV Agusta will also present the Rivale – a hyperrmotard equipped with the same engine as this Brutale 800 – as well as the F4RR, an ultimate version of its Hypersport with electronically controlled suspensions. To be continued on MNC: stay connected !
