Wrong indicators installed
Ducati recalls 228 Scrambler 800 Night Shift machines in the USA. The built-in turn signals do not achieve the legally required brightness.

As reported by the American traffic safety authority NHTSA, the luminosity of the built-in indicators at the front and rear does not meet the required specifications. As a result, the direction signals could be overlooked by other road users. A total of 228 Ducati are affected Scrambler 800 Night Shift from model year 2021.
New indicators for the scrambler

Ducati obviously reached into the wrong shelf during assembly in Bologna. Writes in the US Ducati now to all owners of affected machines and asks them to exchange indicators in the workshops. Instead of the built-in round LED indicators, elongated LED direction indicators are installed. The exchange campaign is scheduled to start in June.
The inquiry to Ducati Germany as to whether the indicators also need to be replaced on Scrambler models in this country is ongoing. As soon as we get feedback here, we will report on it here.

Conclusion
Ducati has obviously installed indicators that are not permitted in the USA on the Scrambler 800 Night Shift. These now have to be exchanged.
