After the decision of the DMSB court of appeal on Thursday (December 10th, 2020), the IDM championships in the Superstock 600 and Supersport 300 classes have now been decided. Lennox Lehmann and Paul Frode are now IDM masters.

Lennox Lehmann from the Freudenberg SMC WorldSSP Academy is Supersport 300 champion of the International German Motorcycle Championship (IDM). The KTM rider wins the title because the DMSB Motorcycle Sports Appeal Court in Frankfurt has confirmed Rick Dunnik’s disqualification after the last race of the season in Hockenheim. The 15-year-old from Dresden is considered to be one of the greatest German talents in recent years.

Paul Frode secured the title in the Superstock 600 class.
The appointment of Yamaha rider Jan-Ole Jahnig in the IDM Superstock 600 was also unsuccessful before the DMSB committee. Also at the IDM final in Hockenheim, a Pirelli standard tire on his Yamaha was missing the mandatory sticker. This led to the Thuringian being disqualified. Thus, Paul Frode wins the first time advertised championship on Honda under the application of ADAC Sachsen e.V..

Lennox Lehmann is the Supersport 300 champion.
After his overall victory in the ADAC Junior Cup, Lennox Lehmann is celebrating the next success of his career in the IDM. The 18-year-old Dutchman Dunnik is seven points short of the title after confirmation of the disqualification. During the routine check after the second race, the scrutineers on Dunnik’s Yamaha discovered that a pressure sensor had been installed for the rear brake. Such a sensor should have been expressly permitted in the 2020 technical DMSB regulations for Supersport 300 motorcycles in order to be allowed to use it.
