Kawasaki is expanding the H2 family with a new SE variant of the Z H2 for model year 2021. This sets new highlights in the areas of chassis and brakes.

the Kawasaki Z H2 is involved in the naked bikes in the 200 hp class. To make it even more drivable, the Greens launched the new SE variant for the 2021 model year. At Kawasaki, SE always stands for higher-quality equipment – as is the case with the Z H2 SE.

In the chassis area, the Z H2 SE is equipped with electronically controlled Showa spring elements. The KECS (Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension) system relies on the Skyhook technology, which is already known from other models, and adapts the damping to current needs. If the rain mode is selected, Skyhook adjusts the semi-active suspension accordingly.

The brake side is also being upgraded. On the Z H2 SE, Brembo Stylema pliers take the double disc between the brake pads. The standard version decelerates with Brembo calipers type M4.32. The new calipers are combined with steel braided lines and a new Brembo radial brake pump. With the new features, the Kawasaki Z H2 makes another leap in terms of driving dynamics, but also adds another kilogram in weight. 239 are now 240 kilograms. The SE does not offer any further differences to the normal Z H2.

The only available color combination for the new Kawasaki Z H2 SE is Metallic Diablo Black / Golden Blazed Green. The 1000cc supercharged engine remains unchanged with 200 HP peak power and a maximum torque of 137 Nm. The Japanese call the price for the new SE model of the Kawasaki Z H2 20,345 euros plus additional costs.

Conclusion

With a semi-active chassis and a new front brake, the Kawasaki Z H2 SE is even more dynamic. Unfortunately, the weight also increases and the price of over 20,000 euros is also not without it.
