Triumph is equipping its Modern Classic models for Euro 5 requirements. The Street Twin, the bestseller of the model family, is not getting any stronger, but has been given many facelifts. The Gold Line special edition is also new.

The triumph Street Twin carries the latest generation of the 900 cc two-cylinder for model year 2021. It now meets the Euro 5 standard and continues to deliver 65 hp at 7,500 rpm and 80 Nm at 3,800 tours. The twin is controlled by ride-by-wire, offers a maintenance interval of 16,000 kilometers and can also be throttled to A2 level.

More comfortable bench

The classic modern look of the Street Twin has been updated with new features for 2021. These include new cast wheels, new side covers and improved details – including headlight brackets and new throttle valve covers made of brushed aluminum as well as black engine covers with Bonneville’s signature. The new bench is ten millimeters thicker and equipped with a new foam that is supposed to increase comfort. The seat height is 765 millimeters.

The new Street Twin will be available from dealers in Germany from April 2021 for 9,300 euros (plus delivery costs). The 2021 Street Twin is available in three color options – Cobalt Blue, Matt Ironstone and Jet Black.

If you want something more exclusive, you can use the new Gold Line variant. The handcrafted custom edition of the 2021 Street Twin offers all updates of the new generation and also shines with the classic Triumph logo and hand-painted, gold-colored decorations as well as new side covers with an individual Street Twin logo and milled details on the spokes of the wheels. Only 1,000 copies of the Gold Line are issued worldwide. Each comes with a certificate of authenticity.

For the Street Twin, which will only be available in Matt Sapphire Black from June 2021 “Gold line” Triumph in Germany demands 600 euros extra. The basic price plus additional costs is 9,900 euros.
