The largest lake in the Mecklenburg Lake District is the Muritz, and that too “Small sea” called.

The region is an Eldorado for water sports enthusiasts, anglers and fishermen – but also for motorcyclists. Because here you can often roam through a natural, sparsely populated area – sometimes on knot-free asphalt, then on bumpy-cobblestone or sometimes on sandy terrain.

  1. Were the center of the region with a pretty old town, bustling city harbor and the futuristic nature experience center “Muritzeum”. And now cast off so that the pistons and crankshaft start moving and drive off “Small sea”.

  5. Luftfahrttechnisches Museum Rechlin Who is going to take off? Well, at least the feet are represented at the test site of the German Air Force with exhibits from the Wehrmacht, Soviet / Russian aviation and also at the Rechlin shipyard.
  6. Muritz National Park Habitat for rare animal species and a scenic highlight of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania with primeval forests, lakes and swamps; No passage for vehicles.

  4. Rheinsberg Now that we have been cruising through the wooded Neustrelitz New Lakeland for a long time with relish, it is now time to cool down with some culture and cuisine. For example when visiting Rheinsberg Castle and the Kurt Tucholsky Literature Museum. True to the motto of this famous journalist and writer: let’s enjoy life as long as we don’t understand it.
